I don't have time to bring this by directly before the rehearsal dinner tonight, dear, but I didn't want you to wait any longer. The dress has been altered exactly to your specifications. I rather pity the poor girl in the back of that boutique, what with the pile she had yet to get through, but a few strong words and a bit of extra cash helped move your dress to the front of the line. Do try it on immediately and let me know if there are any issues while we can still fix them, but I believe we should be fine for tomorrow, at least where the dress is concerned.
